The course is well thought through and we do a lot of practical work that will be a great help in the future. We are also able to access a lot of really good support through the university in a range of different areas which can help when things get a bit overwhelming. The worst bit about NTU is the fact that Brackenhurts Campus is so far out from the other sites. It can make it feel isolated, especially when no events get advertised here. A return to the city is £6.80 or £6.50 with the student discount, this isn't worth the trip into the city and has meant that I've only been in about 4-5 since starting this year. If it was cheaper then I would participate in clubs and societies more and also go to more events in the city as well,

We cover a wide range of content which is very helpful and the content is incredibly interesting as well. The content timetable isn't the best though, and we have had referencing sessions quite late in the year after assignments have already been submitted.

Halls have been great so far. Things were pretty clean when I moved in. I am also glad I do not have to commute into campus as this would use up at least 2 hours of my day everyday if I lived in Nottingham. I signed up for a postgrad flat though and have been put with undergrads which is confusing. I know other people on my course also live with undergrads. There is only 1 flat that is entirely postgrads but there are enough of us in mixed flats that another postgrad only flat could have been made, maybe even two. I think postgrads should have a block of flats to themselves, instead of having one or two postgrads in a flat with four or five undergrads. Maintenance has also not responded to our repair requests as several things within our flats are damaged, and have been since we arrived.
