I love studying at University of Suffolk. The lecturers are extremely supportive and the library space is a great area for group and independent study. There are lots of student break out zones that can be used but some students aren't aware of them so maybe providing a list of the break/relaxed areas where you can make a cup of tea and have a chat would be useful.

The course is taught fully on campus this year which I much prefer to online learning, however contact time with lecturers is only 6 hours a week. This smaller amount of contact time is to be expected with an English course though. Lecturers are usually also available via email for any questions.

Everything is within walking distance of the student halls including: shops, supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, pubs, bars, bowling, cafes. The waterfront is beautiful and there are plenty of cafes along the waterfront to relax in or grab a warm drink to sit on the marina with.

I have had a good experience of staying in Athena Hall and the accommodation management and support team are very helpful and approachable. The noise from the maintenance works currently taking place on the building can disrupt studying and also some of the key fob scanners are often broken so that is a bit of a security concern. Overall though, I believe it is good value for money as WiFi and bills are included in the rent.
