Portsmouth is a very accessible city, plenty of transport routes etc. Great nightlife and music scene and overall a pleasant place to live. It's also not too overwhelming like some cities can be, like London or Bristol to name a few. All of my lecturers have been very accommodating, even offering to move sessions for the whole group to try and increase attainment, and from what I can tell - they genuinely care about their students. As a transgender student, I expected to come across some difficulty, or initial friction - but have been pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the staff have been. Even the older members of staff.

The course is taught entirely on campus, and has a big focus on hands on learning when it comes to electronics. This is incredibly useful, I've found.
