Loughborough has a great environment as a student. The campus is fantastic and means you see your friends a lot during the day. You never live too far away as a student either as Loughborough is a small town.

Research expertise at the uni feeds into module content, especially in 3rd year. Gas turbine module for example is of exceptional quality for an undergraduate programme. Opportunities exist to get involved in extra curricular activities such as the successful UAS team - Loughborough UAV

Great room size and halls are generally close to town/uni.

Amazing sports and engineering facilities While loughborough doesn't have a great night life it is very close to Nottingham and other big city's that do so I'd say it's the best of both worlds

Some lecturers go through more basic topics quite slowly

I have no real problems with my halls It's very central so quite close to everything I'd need Things tend to break in the kitchen fairly frequently but they get fixed quite quickly
