So far I'm enjoying my studies. Lecturers seem capable and the workload on assignments and tests is very much manageable. Most lecturers are not very strict, e.g. resits are very much doable. Difficult to bond with classmates as it seems like lots of guys knew each other beforehand - I have witnessed some sexism too, unfortunately and not just me. That said, I am not surprised by any of this.

Personally, I learn better at uni. This course expects a lot of self-study, which I am fine with. Just a personal take.

GCU is in city centre, which is great. Unfortunately, as a woman it isn't too safe to stay outside even past afternoon in some areas. Avoid East End. Plenty of junkies and foreigners that tend to not know the social norms is unsurprising. Inflation has unfortunately also raised the cost of living here. There is no housing.
