The location is right in the middle of the city, making it easy to go from lectures to a day out shopping, going for food, etc. and also means looking for housing is that little bit easier as everything is so close.

Time wise, the course gives you a lot of free time as you're in uni for about 9 hours a week, but the vast majority of assessments (6 per term, 2 per module) are essays which you need to gather a good amount of sources for, as well as having 3-6 readings to do for seminars every week, which is definitely the most time consuming part of uni for this course in my opinion. Everything has been in person, but lectures are all recorded and easy to access. Lectures are around 2 hours and seminars, for discussing readings mostly, are about an hour long. I have found that lecturers office hours are quite limiting, some only having an hour per week and in my first term of second year I had a lecture during that exact allocated hour. Content wise, the course is a bit mixed. There's definitely something for everyone, but not everything works for everyone. There's a decent amount of theory modules, which are mandatory, and some others which are more case study based like the global countryside.

Senghennydd's location is the perfect walking distance to both town and the main uni buildings. The flats are 5 people. The kitchen is a decent size and my flat had 2 bathrooms.

Best is the societies and the social aspect of it. This includes making mates from your course. Worst was hard to change course
