The experience of attending this institution has been an extremely confidence brewing and invigorating one. rge student support is fantastic and students are encouraged to develop into great contributors through excellent projects and initiatives. I hope this continues and the GUU goes on to become a more inclusive and self-aware Union.

All the social life opportunities along with the fantastic study resources make studying at UofG so interesting! I love the gym classes that are available such as Pilates and also the choice of libraries available- although it can be really hard to find somewhere to sit, and the booth’s are way too hard to book! I also wish that the canteen foods can be cheaper!

There is a mix of online anytime and in-person classes. In person is split into whole class lectures, small tutorial groups and even smaller ones. A basic day consists of starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm- on good days you get one lecture (1hr), and on bad days you do the whole day and get an hour of break. You really have to get up yourself in between lectures for a bit of standing up and exercise otherwise you are sitting down for a good solid 6hrs (on bad days). Most of the course content is engaging- although there are some that aren’t too attractive and their PPT slides are way too long!
