The campus is great and everything is close together making it easy to get around. It is not a far walk from the high street and student accommodation. The facilities are great, there are plenty of labs with high powered computing machines to complete assignment work and the technicians team are approachable and always help out as soon as possible. The games specific modules are engaging and interesting and the tutors are highly knowledgeable and often have industry experience.

A large amount of the course content is shared with the computer science course and is not tailored to the games course which is disappointing at times but the tutors are helpful and knowledgeable in their areas. I often get plenty of contact time with my tutors out side of taught hours. The computing labs are fitted with high powered equipment to run specialist software, and they are available 24hrs a day.

I think the uni buildings are always smart and welcoming. I believe the look and feel of the buildings makes you want to study more. The lecture halls are always airy and clean, which I feel is important to make you want to come into uni

I believe some of the lecturer’s way of teaching isn’t helpful because they just put the work on the screen and don’t actually interact with you. The workshops are great, the interaction and completing the work in the timescale is often tough but achievable.

The accomodation in Pavillions was great, the desk area was useful, a double bed, a pinboard to put my important things up on. The only dislike would be the kitchen as it’s a kitchen/living room, i think i would have preferred just a bigger kitchen as everyone goes back to their rooms to eat and hang out anyway
