Campus is literally the nicest one I've been to--has a corner shop, a subway and the food village with an affordable Starbucks in it and lots of hot food!! the library's open until 2am and the staff there are so friendly and have helped me on numerous occasions. Leicester in general's a lovely city, town centre's super close by and pretty much everything you need is in walking distance.

Highly recommend this course if you're interested in 3d modelling because it's so well taught and the tutors are so helpful !! You can be in the labs and use the computers/cintiqs pretty much monday-to-friday until 9pm and the tutors are always happy to help you with any questions you have or offer feedback on any of your work. All lectures are recorded as well and the blackboard resources are filled for each module with loads of useful links and further reading/videos to help enhance your understanding of things taught in class. The lecturers all work in industry and are super encouraging and knowledgeable on their individual specialisms. Overall a really great course, definitely the best in the uk if you're interested in going into 3d modelling for any field !!

Honestly loved this halls, felt like a little community because of the courtyard which connects all the flats you kind of get to know a lot of faces !! the staff in reception are super nice and the kitchens and rooms are very decently sized especially for the price! kept lovely and clean too! my bed was also really comfortable which was a pleasant surprise, and there's a good amount of storage space in your bedroom (though the fridges and freezers are quite small for the number of people so keep that in mind when you're shopping!!) it is a wee bit far from town centre (it's about 20 minutes, but there's a lidls much closer to it and a tesco express down the street so i only ever really had to go into town occasionally anyways!

As someone who very much dislikes the social parts of anything, I have still been helped an incredible amount, and don't feel left out or forgotten by the tutors and assisting staff. I have zero complaints about the staff there, they are always down for a giggle, and will help in any way they can. You are given an amazing amount of creative freedom in the projects, it has never felt like I was being lead a certain way. I think other than the cost of equipment, software, and licenses I can't say anything bad overall. I will note that there is a strict learning curve for the first couple years, and it was difficult to see myself coming through to the end, but I did and I am really happy I did

Even trough covid, the lessons carried on really well. The classes are very free and you're left to study at your own pace
