Everybody on campus is really friendly, there is a real sense of community and nights out at the student union are a great way to bump into familiar faces. The resources through blackboard are great and you can access lots of journals through UEA library. The Library itself is open 24/7. My lecturers are very interested in their studies and all of the content is recorded and accessible at any time, meaning if you miss anything live it is always available to catch up on or look back at things you weren’t too sure of in the moment. I got really lucky in the flatmate department and would recommend ziggs to anyone looking for sociable people and late nights. The lake outside is lovely in summer and everybody goes out for bbqs etc.In terms of nightlife, the only downside is taxis are a bit of a nightmare at the end of the night to get hold of, so book in advance or walk home (approx an hour).I’d say definitely join sports clubs or societies, it’s a great way to meet new people and there is always something going on with the student union to get involved with. I’ve loved my time at UEA and would recommend it to anyone, it made me transform from not wanting to go to uni to recommending the experience to anyone and everyone!

I have 2 in person seminars a week, 1 advisor meeting a fortnight, roughly 8/9 hours of lectures a week which are mostly online and all of them are recorded and accessible at any date after being recorded.
