The Lab facility is in an easy location to get to as well as fully equipped with everything we need to progress through the course.

It is very easy to contact not only the lecturers but also the careers team and other members of staff. The subjects taught are also taught in a way that is easy to understand

Both the chemical facilities and teaching staff in chemistry are kept to a high standard. There is lots of support from academics and a nice mix of exams and coursework. The opportunity to undertake summer research internships and a research module in the final year has been very fun and a good chance to get an understanding of academia.

The best parts of the course is that the academics are more than happy to have meetings after lectures to go through topics you might not fully understand. There is also a lot different of practical work in the laboratory that gives you experience in different topics in chemistry.
