Good University and really great atmosphere for students in the city. Really enjoyed my time here. Only downside is the support for going abroad with your degree. I completed a semester abroad but very little help in terms of grants and support which I have seen at other Universities. I got a good graduate job by going to Newcastle.

In my course a computer is essential and there is always a computer free.

Good and bad. As mentioned previously there is little support for doing semester abroad unless you are going abroad as a requisite for your degree. Careers service excellent though! Student support in general is great.

Very good. Refurbished in my first year and has plenty of events for everyone to join in or to grab something to eat.

The main reason to go to Newcastle University. City is on your doorstep and very student-centric.

Something for everyone! Easy to get involved.

Good and bad like any University. You soon learn which lecturers are helpful and which aren't.

Got a good graduate job for when I finish.

Long time since I lived in halls but student housing is cheap in the area when you get to second year onwards. Housing in some of the nicest areas of Newcastle.
