The actual university is very good with great teachers, I think the campus is amazing and has great free facilities. I think that’s it’s got stuff for everyone - societies are amazing - I just don’t think there’s a lot of variety in what you can do at night if you don’t look for it. The uni isn’t too bad to get to from anywhere but the hills can take you out if you aren’t ready for them.

I love my course because it’s what I’ve always wanted to study so I cannot really comment on how good it is because I’d love it no matter what. However I do think the amount of choice for modules is a bit paralysing and it kind of expects you to know what certain things that you haven’t encountered before. The assignments are fine if you put the work in, I did have a problem with feeling a bit overwhelmed with the amount of reading I had to do - but this was because I accidentally over selected modules and I was doing 5 instead of 4.

The value for money is fine, the bedroom is nice and pretty spacious, although it took getting used to a single bed. There is no mobile data service in my room, it just doesn’t work, which is usually fine because the wifi is really good - but sometimes the wifi bugs out and is annoying (only been horrible once or twice). I think they might be a bit overzealous with the safety as they don’t allow some decorations, but I understand that. The issues I’ve had with the property have always been resolved fast except for when replacing our fridge/freezer where they delayed the movement and we had an extra one taking up a bit of room. Living on the ground floor is fine, but I think the placement of some of the windows are very not well thought out as they face right out into busy walkways and people just look in or in some occasions knock

All of the professors etc are the nicest and most helpful people you could have ! (on my course) I feel really supported and have never really had a bad experience with them. The campus is clean and nice but it would be nicer for maybe more study space and the social life in exeter isn’t as good as other unis but ultimately really enjoyable!
