GCU is a great place to study because it is in the heart of Glasgow and a 2 minute walk away from the bus station. All the lecturers are really nice and can provide you with support and help when it is required. The facilities have been great with the library offering spaces for group study or silent study. The fact that everything's together on the one campus, unlike Strathclyde makes it a lot easier to navigate. Even though I'm in 1st year, I am looking forward to seeing how my university experience develops from here. Just now I have no thoughts on how the uni could be improved but I'm sure that will change.

The best part of my course is that it's a mix of practical and theory based learning which I really like as it gives me a chance to get some hands-on experience in the lab and it allows me to see if a lab is the right environment for me after graduating. Course contents not too heavy, however I tend to get stressed and overwhelmed with the work load but I can manage.
