Best part was being accepted with the university, and graduating.

Best part was being accepted and having the opportunity to even go to university as a distance learning student. However I feel they majorly let down online students and the effort towards distance students lacks compared to those that go to campus. It does feel like another way for the university to get extra money out of students. I will always be grateful for the opportunity but I will not recommend online studying with this particular university due to the experiences myself and others have had. Although the degree has recently been changed and updated, it’s a shame no improvements were made while I was a student, especially the lack of communication between tutors and students, where some modules we would only hear from a tutor twice within the 3 month period.

The campus has almost everything and more that you could think to need during your time at university. The centrality of it and its services make it super accessible. I also like services provided by the university to ensure student wellbeing and safety (e.g. SafeZone App).

Individuals are supported and their course/ research is allowed to be moulded by what that student wants to achieve.
