The Atrium is a brilliant campus that has provided me with opportunity to work across courses collaboratively as well as providing me with loads of industry contacts and opened doors for job opportunities. I couldn't be happier with the course. My only issue is there is not enough of a student union presence unless you are in Treforest which made it difficult for me to make friends when I got here. The given reason for this was Cardiff already has a lot of student events but I found it difficult to engage with those before moving to the city

The University are so supportive in terms of study and wellbeing, transferring courses when I was unhappy was really easy with support from the University. It's a really good place to study, the facilities are easily accessible and fantastic, with great industry links. I think it could be improved by introducing more hybrid learning and having some lectures over teams to help those that struggle attending lectures in person.

The course I study (Advertising) is really interactive, contact time with lecturers is great and they often reply to emails/queries very quickly and are generally very supportive. All lectures so far have been in person, and I think I would prefer some hybrid/blended learning for when I struggle to attend. Overall, content and lecturers and support is fantastic.

Lumis is a great place for students to live, it is very close to the University, less than a 5 minute walk away and you are also very close to Cardiff City Centre. The facilities are great, every flat has a dishwasher and tv included, alongside every room being an ensuite. Collecting parcels is easy too. The rooms are quite spacious and have lots of storage. It's a fob key access system to the building and rooms so you can't get into the building easily without a fob key, making it feel very safe and secure.
