Leeds trinity is a small uni so you have the chance to get to know your tutors and peers very well. It’s handy to have accommodation on campus, making it easy to get to lectures. Despite the library being small, it provides everything you need to study effectively. The uni also has good transport links with a bus station right outside and a train station a 15 minute walk away. If I had to improve the uni, I think more funding could be put into the students union as even though it provides a fair amount of societies, if you don’t like sports there’s not really anything for you. Student bar is also very quiet and not the cheapest.

Sometimes the course can be confusing as there is a lot of very similar modules being taught at once. Lecturers can also take a very long time to respond to emails sometimes making it a bit stressful, especially if you are asking about assignment work. Our placement is luckily sorted out for us on this course which makes it easy to prepare for work experience. The uni is also attentive to any specific needs or preferences that we have for our placement.

Leeds is a great student city with tons of students since there are so many higher Ed institutions. Lots of clubs covering a broad spectrum of music taste making it a great night out. Lots of entertainment, days out and food experiences in the city. Transport isn’t great, so stand train strikes, cancelled/late bus services and roadworks.

The halls were ok. They weren’t the most expensive halls on campus meaning they were slightly lower quality but for the money you got everything you need including an en suite. We got to choose which room we wanted before moving in, it wasn’t random. However, the halls had quite a lot of maintenance problems but these were usually rectified within a few days. Wifi was fast but turned off a few times for several days/weeks at a time. Was also a good 5 or so minute walk to the laundry room on the other side of campus. Security was good and the guards were very friendly.

Love it here
