The University of Dundee is home away from home. From the lecturers to the students we are joined as one community although we all come from different backgrounds. The University of Dundee is also a cosmopolitan city that even though you are miles away from from, you will always find someone from your country thus make you comfortable and easy to get assistance not to mention other tribes from Africa nation that also make the atmosphere conducive to adjust. Since the University of Dundee is a place where everybody feels like home away from home....their is no place or room for racist that is one thing that International students fall in love with the University. As an International students, am given a scholarship of 4000 pounds and you have a chance of continuing getting it as long as you keep your grades straight. Dundee is away from night life, everything is at slow pace and human needs are affordable. The only thing I don't like about University of dundee is that, the tuition fees are abit higher for international students and also the weather is very bad...its very cold .

Nice facilities, but dorm accommodations are uphill and far from campus (20min walk). As a new student, I do feel that there is a lack of organization in the INTO reception, for example all of the issues on their end when I had problems registering with my course and massive unnecessary delays getting access to ELE. Although, there are many more positives then negatives, for example student life is amazing, the INTO buildings are really nice and modern, and the quality of teaching is also amazing and staff and other students in general are really nice. Overall, id definitely rate my program a 4.5/5!

Studying at UWE Bristol feels like being part of a dynamic laboratory of ideas, where theory meets practice in an inspiring and international environment. The courses are highly applied, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. The Frenchay Campus is modern and well-organized, offering excellent study spaces, cutting-edge facilities, and a vibrant student community. One of the university’s greatest strengths is its strong industry connections, providing students with valuable networking opportunities and hands-on experiences. The lecturers are passionate and supportive, encouraging critical thinking and independent research. The emphasis on real-world challenges—especially in fields like urban regeneration and sustainable mobility—makes learning truly impactful. That said, there’s always room for improvement. Transport links to the city could be more efficient, especially for those with early flights (as I’ve personally discovered!). More late-night campus services and better connections to Bristol Airport would make student life even easier. Overall, UWE Bristol is an exciting and forward-thinking university that equips students with the skills and knowledge to shape the future. Highly recommended for anyone passionate about making a difference!

The facilities are really nice for students such as library, microwave and so on. Although my timetable is not quite well. Due to those facilities, I could easily find places to stay in and warm up my own made dishes.

The SU center is such a great place to be studying at and meeting new people and making friends. The amenities in the SU are great as well as the location, being 5 minutes away from the city center along with cafes nearby, makes it great for socializing and enjoying your time while studying. As for the only aspect that I found difficult. University Hall was far away from where I live and it was a hassle to make my way there every morning and leaving an hour after I finish because of bus timings. But besides that everything else was great I’m having fun and learning a lot here.
