Best is the feel in the uni. Would like more technicians in craft

Need more technicians. The ones there are helpful.

The university has alot of opportunity to explore resources and methods, especially with the Fab Lab. However, there can often be a lack of clear direction from lecturers and the organisation often isn't clear the first time around. Additionally, I felt that - given the size of the university - there's a lack of interesting societies that provide for a range of people. Quite often I felt isolated because the societies available felt very catered to one group of people and there was little in the way of physical activities that could be done to meet like-minded people. There's a level cliquey-ness amongst the university that makes it difficult to really get to know new people.

Lecturers are very approachable and adaptable to a lot of students individual needs and goals. Decent amount of contact time and found that said contact time is often really valuable. However, often times - as a whole year group - we've felt unclear on the direction of some units because not enough information is provided in the introduction of a unit. Often times we've had to follow up with many questions over several weeks until it's clear what is expected of us.
