What can you expect?BSc (Hons) Psychology of Fashion applies psychological science in the context of fashion. Fashion industries concerned with enhancing the human aspects of its provision. The course enables an evidence-based understanding of human behaviour across the broad spectrum of the fashion industries. BSc (Hons) Psychology of Fashion is accredited by The British Psychological Society (BPS). BPS is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK and promotes of excellence and ethical practice in the science, education, and practical applications of psychology. Membership of the British Psychological Society will broaden your appreciation of your subject, help you keep abreast of new developments and open up a network contacts.The scientific discipline of Psychology equips graduates with an rich and diverse portfolio of skills. This gives them a distinct edge in the fashion and related industries. Students will learn to predict human behaviour. This will allow them to address real world problems across fashion and fashion business. London College of Fashion (LCF) undergraduate courses develop your personal and professional skills. On this course you will develop skills in your discipline until you are an independent creative thinker. Your skills will make you capable of making an effective contribution to this sector of the fashion industry. We embed Personal and Professional Development (PPD) skills in all units on every course. Speaker programmes with contributions from alumni and members of industry are a part of many courses. We encourage graduates who wish to continue their education at postgraduate level to progress to suitable courses within the College, the University or elsewhere.This course is based at John Prince’s Street, LCF’s most central site. Located at the heart of Oxford Circus the site has convenient access to every high street shop that London has to offer. The local areas of Marylebone, Mayfair and Soho are home to many of London’s main attractions, points of interest and museums.
