What will I study?

Our accelerated, twelve-week Pre-Masters Programme offers you specially designed modules around your chosen subject route to help you prepare for postgraduate study at the University of Aberdeen. Taught in the same style as the University, you will also study core modules designed to improve your English and mathematical skills.

Progress to your degree

Once you have completed your Pre-Masters Programme in Science & Engineering, you will be able to progress to the one-year taught master’s degree of your choice. Some master’s degrees are available for a September or January start, and some for September start only.

Entry requirements

Academic: You will need a good, recognised degree or advanced diploma in Engineering or Science. Applicants who do not meet this requirement may also be considered if they can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, in addition to a good degree. Age on entry: 20+. English language: Academic IELTS for UKVI 6.0 (minimum 6.0 in writing and no skill below 5.5).
