The Pre-Master's Programme is available as a two-semester programme. All pathways offer a guaranteed opportunity for progression to a number of Master's degrees at the University of Reading.
Who is this programme designed for?
This programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed a Bachelor's degree, for entry to postgraduate studies at the University of Reading. If you successfully complete the PMP to the required level of attainment in all academic areas and achieve the required English language score, you will have the opportunity to progress onto a place on a suitable programme of postgraduate study.
How long will I study for?
Each semester consists of a minimum of 13 teaching weeks. You will have 21 hours of classroom-based study per week and you will timetable self-study hours in addition to classroom-based hours. Please note: Learning hours are estimated and may be adjusted throughout the course.
Students need to have a Bachelor’s degree (with minimum 2:2) or equivalent from a recognised university. Students minimum age should be 21.
