Physics with French - BSc (Hons)

Queen's University Belfast

Staffs are extremely talented, the way of teaching is good. We have all the necessary equipments to train upto the industry standards. Fees also very low when compared to other universities.

Each module is presented to enhance students' understanding of subject application in real life. There are coursework, assignments and even practical to aid in the learning process. It can only be improved by involving more practical learnings.

Lecturers have good knowledge on the topic they teach and are always willing to clear any of students queries. The location is very close to Belfast city center and other amenities which make travel and shopping easier. The infrastructure such as Library, labs are of top quality for student to utilize them to the fullest. What could be improved are the cost of living supports for international students and the departments understanding the curriculum differences between UK universities and foreign universities. The University can come up with more financial support schemes for these students as many of them wont be having a stable income to support themselves and their families. The heads of concerned departments should understand that the assessment criteria for foreign universities are far more liberal and easier whereas here they are more stringent. This made many of my fellow classmates to fail to complete the degree and had to go back to their countries. This is not a foreign national expect after spending more thousands of pounds as tuition fees and return to their families depressed. Immediate attention and action on this is of great importance.

Appreciate the friendly atmosphere of the Student Union and how efficiently they organize and manage the necessary work for students. The course modules are highly engaging, offering a well-structured curriculum that aligns with current technological advancements. This ensures students gain relevant, up-to-date knowledge that enhances their learning experience and career prospects.
