Prepare for entry to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Economics and Accounting at the triple - accredited Queen's Business school.
You'll learn how accountants take a proactive role in obtaining and interpreting financial and non-financial information about an organisation?s activities. You'll look at: roles such as understanding, developing, maintaining and improving accounting information systems the basic components of accounting information systems how information technology affects the nature of business in general, and accounting in particular
This module will help you develop your independent study skills and confidence in academic English. It will focus on the four key areas of competence ? reading, writing, listening and speaking ? with a particular emphasis on high-level academic writing skills.
