If you’re an early years practitioner who is passionate about working with children and their families and aspires to develop high-quality practice, our Education (Early Years) BA(Hons) course could be for you. You’ll explore a variety of issues, including:
• health and wellbeing
• education
• learning and development. You’ll focus on safeguarding, society, and early years practice, developing your skills as you work towards becoming a reflective, evidence-based practitioner.

This Education (Early Years) BA(Hons) degree course is designed to help you progress to senior roles in early years education. You’ll learn how to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues and other professionals and you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusive, anti-discriminatory practice. Your place of work forms a key element of the course, allowing you to put theory into practice. You’ll be taught by an outstanding team of teachers, who have industry links that you’ll benefit from, and you’ll have access to our extensive professional and academic network (which feeds directly into course design and delivery). You might go on to secure a role or progress within children’s services, as a child minder, or nursery worker, for example, or you might extend your studies in a relevant area.
