The campus is quite modern and easy to navigate, the location of Frenchay is outside of the city centre however there are regular busses running to and from the city so this is not a drawback. Student support is great, there are multiple avenues you can go down to find help with anything you might be struggling with whether that be academic or personal issues. The only downside which affects me is that they are reducing the amount of physical books in the library meaning there are less resources readily available.

Best aspects: One of the nicest aspects of studying at UWE is how practical and career-oriented the instruction is. Many of our classes are closely related to real-world projects, and lecturers frequently incorporate industry expertise into their teaching, making learning seem relevant and interesting. The campus facilities are contemporary and well-equipped, and there is always aid accessible, whether it's academic assistance, mental health services, or career advising. I've also appreciated how kind and open the community is; it's simple to meet individuals from all backgrounds and participate in groups or activities. Areas for improvement include improving communication surrounding timetables, evaluations, and placements, which can often be unclear or delayed. Accommodation and living costs in Bristol are also fairly high, which can be stressful, especially for students on a tight budget. Finally, given the main campus is located little outside of the city core, transportation links might be enhanced to make it simpler to experience everything Bristol has to offer.

uwe has a grounded and practical energy with loads of different characters in people. which makes it a great social place and nice place to meet people with that modern campus vibe

Many of the rooms have connected small desks to their chairs which are difficult and fiddly, and too small to work on. Also many of the bathroom facilities are unpleasant.

it’s good because of the buildings and facilities. however if you don’t live near campus it can take a while or be expensive to travel to campus since it’s far from city centre
