Wi-Fi needs to be a LOT better

To study at the University of Cambridge is a once in a lifetime opportunity which everyone should take advantage of, if they get the chance. The course that I study, Anglo-Saxon Norse and Celtic, is unique in the world and everyone gets the opportunity to work with world leaders in their fields of study, sometimes on a one to one basis. The college system means that everyone has the opportunity to meet other students from other subjects meaning that your college will end up feeling like a big family. Recently there have been concerns over mental health support and it is true that studying at Cambridge is high pressured, your lecturers and supervisors expect you to do the best that you can, and the high pressure environment is something that anyone planning on applying here should consider. Some people thrive in this environment but others need more support. Support is available from several areas, your subject (your Director of Studies), your college (your tutor and nurse and often a councilor) and there is also a university wide counselling service too), but the most important thing is that you ask for help if you need it.

Anglo Saxon Norse and Celtic is a unique course which allows you to study language and literature along with history. The course allows you direct contact with lectures who are world experts in their field.

To be able to put a degree from the University of Cambridge is always an advantage but more than that there is a dedicated careers service with experts in just about every possible sector. There are also multiple opportunities to network both within your college and your subject.
