I really like the university it has a really homely feet.

It’s pretty mixed with everything

I really like what I’ve been given.

The campus is on the edge of Coventry which has great train links to Birmingham and London Euston which I’ve found to be really useful. I’ve also spent a lot of time in the FAB building for my course which is very nice to be in and my lecturers are also friendly and approachable for the most part. However as a downside there can be a fair amount of issues with accommodation and there always being maintenance and staff coming into the flat.

Everything is taught in person which I appreciate as it isn’t a particularly large course and it’s nice to get to know everyone also taking it. I have noticed that I tend to have many less contact hours than my friends on other courses, but whether this is good or bad is up for interpretation.

It is a more expensive hall but feels more value for money than a hall such as Bluebell and is very pleasant to live in. It’s right next to central campus and I only have to cross a road to get to my class buildings or the SU building. It’s also in Cryfield village which gives it more of a community feel and means we also have access to all the facilities in the village hub (laundry, hall space, meeting space, cinema room). The only issue is there seems to always be something that staff are having to come for, particularly to do with our showers for some reason and that means they’re constantly needing access to our rooms to conduct water checks or shower disenchant replacement or all sorts, but they do give some advance warning but never a specific date or time
