The campus has a really nice community feel and there are lots of green spaces around that I really appreciate. The location of the uni is quite isolated but there's a lot to do on campus and the buses are easy to get to local towns.

There's a lot of contact hours which means learning is more interactive but can be overwhelming. Most of the lecturers are really passionate about their subject which makes learning enjoyable.

Sherbourne is a great hall of residence. It is a 10 minute walk to most places on campus, so not as central as other accommodations, but the walk is really pleasant. It is very close to the university gym, however it is further from the supermarkets. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had good amenities with a cleaner each week!

Campus life is really good and a good way to settle in during first year. The accommodation options are mostly in convenient locations for lectures and socialising. Lots of societies and events to get involved with to meet people etc. sports are also really good here and all abilities are involved.

The topics have been a variety of levels so far with some modules being significantly harder. Nothing I wouldn't expect going in to a physics degree. The workload is quite high but support is always there.

Good quality facilities. Big kitchen. Good location.
