The University of York's campus is within walking distance of the city centre and easy to get around. One of the things that makes it stand out is its intricate college system. You'll become part of one of eleven colleges, giving you a tight-knit, community feel, which is especially welcoming in your first year.
Each college has its own events, support teams and common spaces, which makes it really easy to feel at home. Most of the academic departments are based right on campus, so you're never far from where you need to be.
