Great, I love it. There is a great atmosphere on campus with lots going on. Lovely staff and lovely University. Would definitely recommend the University of Worcester to others.
Located in a historic cathedral city in the West Midlands and only 45 minutes from Birmingham, the University of Worcester is home to 10,000 students and 1,000 staff. It offers a broad choice of postgraduate degree courses alongside state-of-the-art research and study facilities.
The university is spread across four sites. St John’s, City and Severn campuses are all located within Worcester and are a short walk from each other, meaning students have immediate access to the university’s impressive range of resources. Lakeside Campus lies just north of the city, providing an exceptional outdoor learning and activities centre.
Worcester prides itself for its academic quality, ranking top 10 in the UK for its counselling, psychotherapy, and occupational therapy degrees (CUG, 2024). Awarded Silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2023, student engagement and experience are central to the university’s teaching methods, ensuring graduate success.

GET PROSPECTUSProspective students wishing to enrol on a postgraduate degree at the University of Worcester must meet basic entry requirements. These vary between courses, so students are advised to check the specific requirements for their chosen degree prior to application.
Typically, postgraduate students must have attained a minimum of a 2:1 in a related undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
Students who do not meet the entry requirements for their chosen course will also be considered if they have significant professional or research experience related to the subject they wish to study. Professional qualifications may be taken into consideration.
Students with questions regarding the relevance of their qualifications and/or experience are advised to contact the university’s admissions team for advice and guidance.
International students who do not speak English as a first language must demonstrate their language proficiency. A range of English language qualifications are accepted by Worcester. The minimum IELTS score for postgraduate students is 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
