Worcester’s four Midlands campuses host a variety of halls of residences, providing comfortable and convenient housing in a selection of safe and beautiful surroundings. First-year students who apply for accommodation before 31st May and accept Worcester as their first choice option are guaranteed placement.

There is a range of housing options available to suit all preferences and budgets including shared kitchen facilities and both standards and en-suite rooms. All university-managed halls have on-site laundrette facilities and include high-speed internet, contents insurance, gym membership and all utilities bills. There are a limited number of specially adapted rooms for wheelchair users, and every residence is serviced by a 24-hour security team and emergency maintenance.

Worcester’s campuses function as self-contained learning environments, and the university is proud to offer its students a range of award-winning facilities and recreational spaces.

The recently renovated Art House and Garage buildings have been transformed to host a range of new exhibition spaces, workshops and studios, and the nearby Digital Arts Centre offers state-of-the-art recording and design facilities.

Worcester champions accessibility of education, and their award winning 2000-seat wheelchair accessible sports hall is a physical reflection of this commitment to inclusivity. The Lakeside campus is a beautifully landscaped location with a range of outdoor activities for all students. The university works hard to promote sustainability, and the £7 million Charles Darwin building features cutting-edge microbiology and forensics labs, and an advanced climate controlled chamber for experimental research.
