There are a number of taught degrees available, including MA, MSc, MBA, MRes, LLM, MMHN, and MPH, along with postgraduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas. Research students will be able to study towards an MPhil, PhD or professional doctorate and can use the university’s online course finder to search for a specific course.
The university has an impressive network of research institutes and research centres, including many that have attained national and international recognition in the last 20 years, such as the Centre for Film, Media, Discourse and Culture, and the First World War research group.
The university aims to provide flexibility whenever possible, so a number of their postgraduate courses can be taken in a distance-learning format via a virtual learning environment (VLE), enabling students to learn remotely from the comfort of their own home.
