The University of Westminster offers a wide range of scholarships each year for its UK, EU and international postgraduate students, whether they are studying full-time or part-time. These financial support options can enable students to achieve their full potential, removing the distraction of monetary worries during students’ time at the university.
To find out which scholarships are available and the eligibility criteria, please check the full list on the university’s website. Students are encouraged to apply early to ensure they have the best chance of being considered for any relevant scholarships.
Fees for postgraduate taught courses vary between £6,500 and £16,500 per academic year. Full details of fees can be found on the individual course details pages on the university’s website. Fees for research degrees are £5,520 for full-time and £2,760 for part-time students.
The university does not increase tuition year-on-year for existing students, so students will pay the same annual tuition fee in all years of study as they do in the first year.
All students studying on full or part-time masters and PhD courses, who hold either a bachelor’s or master’s degree gained from the university or have completed semesters on the university’s study abroad programme or London International Summer School, will be eligible for a 15% discount on the course fees.
Student Finance England (SFE) has a loan of up to £11,222 that is for students starting a postgraduate master’s course. The loan can be used to pay tuition fees or help meet maintenance or study costs. To be eligible for the loan, students must be studying at postgraduate master’s level and must meet the eligibility criteria that relates to residence, settled status, previous study, and qualifications.
