Job prospects

Courses at UWS are all tailored towards future employment, with lecturers co-ordinating with industry leaders to provide study programmes that develop the skills required for employment in each sector.

Many of UWS’s courses also feature work placement opportunities to give students the chance to not only experience the industry first-hand before they graduate but to network and build relationships with potential employers.

Student services at the university include job skills support to help students build their CV, as well as workshops on interview techniques to give them experience of being interviewed before they graduate. The university also offers post-graduation support for finding work.

As a result, almost 95 per cent of students who graduate from UWS have either found a job or entered further education within six months of completing their degree.
