Your Campus

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David has three main campuses in South West Wales – Carmarthen, Lampeter and Swansea ‒ each offering a different kind of student experience, although each with the same small and friendly, community feel.

UWTSD Swansea is located at the heart of the city. Nearby trendy cafes and bars offer students plenty of places to relax and the beach is just a stone’s throw away too, while the stunning Gower coast begins just a few miles up the road. SA1 Swansea Waterfront, which will open this September, will bring students even closer to the city’s exciting seafront while all the amenities of the city centre will still be just a short walk away.

The town of Carmarthen is home to national chains and boutique-style shops, as well as excellent leisure facilities and good links to the coastline and national parks of Pembrokeshire and the Brecon Beacons. In 2018 Wales’ national broadcaster S4C is opening its new headquarters, Yr Egin, on our Carmarthen campus, bringing with it a wealth of opportunity for students.

Lampeter is a vibrant historic market town, which is surrounded by the beautiful Cambrian mountains of rural Wales, and the campus has some stunning buildings too.  The town boasts locally run shops with plenty of cafes and scenic spots in which to relax and study. There is an active students’ union with lots of clubs and societies to keep you busy all year long.

UWTSD Cardiff offers a new BA Vocal Studies at the Wales International Academy of Voice (WIAV), and a Welsh-medium BA Perfformio degree through Canolfan Berfformio Cymru (CBC), Wales Centre for Performance.

Each campus is unique and offers a range of subjects to choose from − at UWTSD we have the right course and campus for you!

Lots of fun. This is my second university, and this one easily trumps a larger (more prestigious) school. For many reasons as mentioned previously. The teaching quality here is A* and accessibility...
