Students are provided with academic support from course tutors, and the university has an online system called Study Direct, which students can use to access their timetables and lecture notes as well as other learning resources.
The Student Life Centre is a place for students to receive any support that they need around welfare issues, such as study or money. The drop-in desk operates there from 9am-5pm every weekday.
There are workshops available for people who don’t have English as their first language. The university also provides support for students with a disability, that are dealing with mental health issues, or that have other learning needs.
In order to help students feel safe on campus there are security cameras and officers on site at all times.
