At Surrey, the student support staff and faculty do everything they can to make students feel safe, settled and happy during their time at university. Should students' need it, the university offers assistance with any academic or personal problems they may face. The university has a dedicated student advice and support hub at the MySurrey Hive, as well as friendly International Student Support teams and a multi-faith chaplaincy.
The University of Surrey's Centre for Wellbeing has an on-campus team of nurses and medical advisers to offer support and advice on issues ranging from mental health to living a healthy lifestyle.
Students can also receive financial advice and support from the Student Money team advisers, including information on paying the appropriate council and income tax, as well as national insurance. The university staff always put students first. No matter what type of support is needed, there’s someone at Surrey who can offer help.
