There are a variety of routes for financial support available to students at the University of Suffolk to assist them with the costs of studying and life at university.
UK students commencing their first degree programme, whether on a full or part-time basis, will most probably be eligible to receive a loan to fund their tuition fees for the duration of their course. This loan is not means-tested and is not subject to an age limit. There are however a range of other factors involved in the assessment of eligibility. These same criteria will determine whether a student is also eligible for a maintenance loan.
Aside from this, students attending the University of Suffolk will be able to access a number of other funding and financial award options to assist them with the costs of living and studying. These can include awards from the university such as the Bursary 2021 Entry. The Bursary 2021 Entry is open to all full- and part-time students commencing an undergraduate programme in the given academic year and can be valued up to £500 per academic year. There are also other bursaries available for students who meet certain criteria and for those who are studying particular disciplines, in addition to a wealth of awards from private bodies or charities who may apply their own eligibility criteria.
