Strathclyde is home to world-class researchers and almost 90% of the university’s research is world leading or internationally excellent according to Times Higher Education’s analysis of REF2021. Programmes include PhDs, collaborative and industrial doctorates and professional doctorates. Postgraduate students benefit from spending time with such accomplished mentors who are able to share valuable academic insights, and industry experience.
The university specialises in business and engineering courses. Strathclyde Business School is triple accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIA and was the first school in Scotland to achieve triple accreditation. The engineering faculty is the largest in Scotland, with more than 6,000 students from almost 100 different countries and 100+ postgraduate taught courses on offer.
