If you have specific learning difficulties, the Student Support and Wellbeing Service can assist with arranging academic support to ensure you have everything in place to support your learning. The Wellbeing team offer free and confidential support to all Kent students experiencing distress arising from psychological, emotional or mental health issues. As well as providing a number of online wellbeing resources, there are regular drop-in sessions where students are able to just turn up and speak to a member of the team.
We also provide lots of academic support through a range of workshops, one-to-one appointments, events and academic peer mentoring. You’ll also be assigned an academic adviser who is there to support and encourage your academic development. Your adviser can also provide advice and guidance on a range of academic issues and can refer you to other specialist sources of support should you need them.
