We use cookies for three reasons: to give you the best experience on Whatuni, to make sure the Whatuni ads you see on other sites are relevant, and to measure website usage. Some of these cookies are necessary to help the site work properly and can't be switched off. Cookies also support us to provide our services for free, and by clicking "Accept" below, you are agreeing to our use of cookies. You can manage your preferences now or at any time.
We use cookies, which are small text files placed on your computer, to allow the site to work for you, improve your user experience, to provide us with information about how our site is used, and to deliver personalised ads which help fund our work and deliver our service to you for free.
The information does not usually directly identify you, but it can give you a more personalised web experience.
You can accept all, or else manage cookies individually. However, blocking some types of cookies may affect your experience of the site and the services we are able to offer.
You can change your cookies preference at any time by visiting our Cookies Notice page. Please remember to clear your browsing data and cookies when you change your cookies preferences. This will remove all cookies previously placed on your browser.
For more detailed information about the cookies we use, or how to clear your browser cookies data see our Cookies Notice

Through the university’s Careers, Entrepreneurship and Study Abroad Service, students can benefit from a wide range of services such as placements, internships, work experience, support for entrepreneurship, volunteering opportunities and employer mentoring.
Students can also learn how to start their own business. The university’s Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Society will help to develop ideas, provide students with key skills such as project management and marketing, and put them in contact with established entrepreneurs.
All academic programmes are regularly reviewed to ensure that they offer the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to prosper in the workplace. These attributes are recognised in the university’s own Hull Employability Awards which can be earned on top of degrees and stand as an endorsement of a student’s employability. This is evident in the university’s employment statistics, which find that 94.6% of graduates are in work or further study within 15 months.
Hull has produced thousands of dynamic graduates who have gone on to achieve success at the top of their game – from commerce and politics to science and arts.
