University-approved accommodation in Huddersfield is provided by DIGS Student. There are two halls of residence to choose from, Storthes Hall Park Student Village and Ashenhurst Student Houses.
Storthes Hall Park
Located a 15-minute bus ride away from campus in a beautiful woodland setting is Storthes Hall Park. There is a range of rooms available, including single and doubles (all of which are en-suite), with shared kitchen/dining areas of differing styles. All rooms are split into flats of between five and eight students.
On the park, students will have access to The Venue, a student hub that comprises a bar/restaurant with a beer garden, coffee shop, study room, cinema room, games room, and a free gym with fitness classes. There is also a launderette and supermarket on site. Rental prices start at £78.30 a week and include all utilities, WiFi, contents insurance, and 24/7 security.
Located in beautiful parkland with plenty of room for summer BBQ’s, sports, and outdoor festivities, Ashenhurst Houses is known for its affordable rooms. Students will live in flats with five to seven residents, they will have their own private bedroom but will share a bathroom, kitchen, and living area with their flatmates. Students living at Ashenhurst Houses are also able to access all the facilities at Storthes Hall Park. WiFi, utility bills, and contents insurance plus an onsite launderette are included in the price, which starts at £70 a week.
