Going through Clearing is an opportunity for you to assess and research the options available to you. Thousands of students go through Clearing every year and successfully find a course, so don’t panic as you're not alone. It is worth researching the courses and universities you are interested in beforehand and gaining an understanding of how Clearing works, so you have the best chance of securing a place on your perfect course, if you do need to go through Clearing.
Some universities also provide students with the option to pre-register for Clearing. The University of Huddersfield will have a Clearing pre-registration form on the website between 5 July and 14 August 2024. If you fill that in, you’ll be contacted by our Student Recruitment team to discuss your options.
The University of Huddersfield recommends students have their exam results and personal statement to hand when calling their helpline on results day.
