Facilities

In recent years, the University of Hertfordshire has made significant investments in its infrastructure, and services across its two campuses. Their new Science Building is furnished with industry-standard experimental equipment and research spaces, as well as spacious lecture halls. The university library is a fully modernised building containing hundreds of thousands of books, journals and digital archives, as well as individual and group study spaces.

Herts is known for the success of its many sports teams, who train at the university’s state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities. Participation is encouraged at both casual and competitive levels, encouraging students to learn a new sport or develop physically, and the university provides plenty of support to all students including a free injury management service. The university is proud to have sent several of its current students to the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics in Tokyo.
