ASK A QUESTIONStudents at the University of Greenwich benefit from a range of student accommodation. All residences are on or near to campus with support available round the clock. Low emission buses run regularly between campuses with no cost to the student between Greenwich and Avery Hill, and at a low cost for services to and from Medway.
Some accommodation is available almost exclusively to postgraduate students at the Greenwich campus and students also have plenty of options to rent privately nearby if they choose.

Greenwich Students’ Union is run by an elected student body to represent students’ interests and opinions. It provides support services across all levels at the university and at all three campuses.
Students enjoy over 60 clubs and societies, including sports, skills and general interest. Students are encouraged to start their own society or get involved in volunteering experiences run by the students’ union.
At each of its campuses, students at the University of Greenwich are spoiled for choice when it comes to entertainment, culture, history and days out.
The famous Greenwich Campus is 20 minutes from central London by train, and boasts spectacular architecture, beautiful parkland, and an enviable range of places to eat and drink. It is based at the Old Royal Naval College, which is rich in maritime history and frequently features in period films and TV shows, including The King’s Speech and The Crown.
The Avery Hill Campus in south-east London is surrounded by green spaces and an exciting range of high street shops, plus plenty of entertainment options. The well-developed campus provides onsite accommodation, a shop, a library and excellent sports facilities.
The historic Medway Campus in Kent offers an excellent library and state-of-the-art laboratories, and is situated within easy reach of central London by rail or the intercampus bus service.
