Clearing is now open for September 2025 courses

Clearing is an opportunity for students who haven't yet secured a university place or are applying for the first time. There are many reasons you might use Clearing—you may be applying through UCAS after 30 June, have changed your mind about your original university choice, or didn't meet the conditions of your initial offer.

Whatever your situation, we're here to help. Our friendly team is ready to guide you through the Clearing process and answer any questions you have about the University of Greater Manchester or your course of interest.

Visiting a university you are considering applying to (or have already!) is a great way to get a feel for the place, helping you make an informed decision when making your choices. Our Clearing Drop-In Days & Open Days offer a mixture of presentations and tours, alongside activities and workshops led by our own students and Student Life team, designed to give you a snapshot of what being a UoGM student is like.

Every Events Day is slightly different but you can be assured of a friendly and welcoming experience whether you choose to you can come along solo, or invite friends and family along to make sure you ask all the right questions. Visit us in person.
