University of Gloucestershire students benefit from a range of services, information and support to help them get the most out of their experience. They have their own personal tutor throughout their degree who, together with the Your Future Plan team, provide individual support and help to prepare students for their future careers. Careers consultants also run free regular workshops on all aspects of career development, while study support from the Student Achievement team includes workshops, one-to-one appointments and online resources to make sure students achieve the grades they deserve.
Student Helpzones provide the first port of call for information about every aspect of student life on all 3 campuses. Support is also available, completely confidentially, for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. Trained counsellors can listen and help manage the pressures of university life and can support students with mental health or wellbeing issues through one-to-one sessions, workshops and lots of other resources.
The chaplaincy team are available for students of all faiths and none. Each campus has a welcoming faith space where students can drop in for tea or coffee or just a quiet place to sit.
