The university has been awarded 14 National Teaching Fellowships and has a strong team of lecturers with industry experience, who are able to offer excellent expertise and support – treating each student as an individual and giving them the tools they need to reach their full potential.
The university has an excellent network, with links to Saatchi & Saatchi, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London Book Fair, Vogue, BMW, NHS, Superdry, BBC and Universal Music – to name but a few. Through these links to industries, businesses, organisations and individual professionals relevant to their chosen course, students have a wealth of opportunities to get more than just a degree and really make their CV stand out from the crowd. Most programmes offer the chance to be inspired by guest speakers, undertake unforgettable field trips and participate in career-relevant workshops. Many courses also include a work placement, where students are able to gain first-hand experience and build their own network of contacts.
A number of courses are even designed with input from industry or to the standards set by accrediting professional bodies, so graduates can be confident that they’ll have the skills and knowledge that key employers want and need.
