With links to employers around the world, the University of Exeter careers team blends individual advice and guidance with organised programmes and skills sessions, to empower students to achieve the career they want. A student’s time in postgraduate study will go quickly, so the university provides the support of the career team from the outset.
Exeter has its own online Career Zone dedicated to help students with their career planning needs, including access to job vacancies. The Career Zone enables students to decide, plan and complete different stages of their employment journey, along with allowing students to book private 1:1 sessions with career experts, CV review sessions, advice, interview guidance and workshops.
The Exeter Award and Exeter Leaders Award are available to all students and recognise any extra-curriculum achievements which help students stand out in the job market. The awards support students to enhance their employability and boost their CV, whilst also giving recognition to all the activities an individual participates in outside of their core studies. The development of these skills provide Exeter students with a range of practiced attributes ideal for the graduate job market.
